Earners progressed from training into work experience gaining level 3 skills. A guaranteed interview was available upon completion of the Skills Bootcamp with potential for employment with many regional and national employers.

Earning Criteria

Earners have demonstrated a strong skill set within the fields of Mechanical Engineering and Welding gaining practical skills in Electrical Awareness, Forming and assembling pipework systems, Material preparation, Fabrication skills, and Welding processes.

The earner has completed ECITB qualifications; CCNSG and Pre-Employment programme in Manual Handling, Working at Height, PPE and Harness, Abrasive Wheels, Fire Sentry and Hot Works, Confined Space and Working Safely with Hand & Power Tools.

The earner has also completed a 1-day First Aid at Work course.

The earner has completed onsite practical work experience and received an interview from an employer within industry following successful achievement of their programme.
