Earning Criteria

Earner has attended a course over a period of time and focused on developing their skills and knowledge within that particular field (for example 'How to make a music video'). They have worked on technical and creative skills throughout the course, learnt from industry professionals, shared ideas, collaborated, worked independently, researched and may have presented their work or what excites and drives them creatively throughout the process.

Earner has received feedback throughout the course even if they did not produce a final piece.

Participants have collaborated throughout the course with others or have worked individually to achieve goals set.

Most will put learning they've gained into practice - either as part of the project or they will use skills learnt during the course in the future.

Standards
Some courses may offer the chance to complete an Arts Award. Arts Award inspires young people to grow their arts and leadership talents: it's creative, valuable and accessible. Note - people who take part in LOOKOUT courses have the choice to work towards Arts Award if available.
This badge has been mapped to the Demonstrate Layer of the Cities of Learning Badging Standard. The earner has demonstrated they can apply knowledge with real world context and has gained experience, consistently and applied feedback they have received in order to develop.
