Earning Criteria

• Earner has demonstrated strong technical competence and high level knowledge of the insurance market and products/services available to suit clients needs and deliver business outcomes. Earner has also demonstrated the ability to be adaptable and to work within the Financial Services legal ad regulatory framework. This includes having a deep knowledge of current and new legislation that impacts the insurance industry, as well as an understanding of how to manage, mitigate and transfer risk.
• Earner has demonstrated excellent skills in customer service and customer management, showing they are able to build, nurture and maintain connections both internally and externally. Earner has also demonstrated that they have a deep understanding of the customer service standards and ethos of the organisation/company they are working for. Earner is able to network and manage client expectations successfully to deliver positive business outcomes.
• Earner has demonstrated high level knowledge of the systems and processes that are in place within their organisation and has proven that they are able to work within these, as well as having an understanding of insurance market practices and agreements and how these impact the operations and strategic objectives of their organisation/company.
• Earner has shown an understanding of commercial awareness and how the insurance market may be impacted by external change. Earner has an understanding of how to assess competitor strategy and how this can then be used to influence and contribute to their organisations strategy.
• Earner has demonstrated complex technical skills within their specialist area, demonstrating the ability to apply their knowledge to unfamiliar and difficult situations. Earner has also demonstrated significant knowledge of legal insurance principles and market structure. Earner is able to use this knowledge to inform and implement changes to their practice as is needed.
• Earner has demonstrated excellent communication skills within a variety of settings. Earner is able to use advanced communication skills to convey complex information to clients/colleagues. Earner is also able to successfully and confidently negotiate where needed.
• Earner has demonstrated the ability to positively manage others within their organisation, using key communication skills to delegate work and ensure the needs and objectives of their organisation are met. Earner has also taken a leadership role where needed and supported others, whilst also ensuring that all practice is compliant with the organisations policies and procedures.
