Earner has attended the first day of a 2 day module to learn about self employment and how to prepare for starting their own business. The first day delivered an in depth introduction to all things to consider when starting and then running your own business. There was a brief introduction into business finances with explanation on business expenses and "Making Tax Digital".

Earner has attended the second day of a 2 day module about self employment. The second day delivered further considerations on starting your own business and reinforced the knowledge from the first day. Earners were able to build a simple Self Assessment spreadsheet to help understand Tax and National Insurance. The day finished with a discussion on digital marketing including strategies to build a brand, establish trust and integrity and develop business/sales leads.
