Earners can identify the correct rules governing singles game plan in badminton, describe the application of rules and scoring in competitive scenarios, support an experienced official to apply rules and scoring system in a variety of competitive situations and apply knowledge of rules and scoring consistently in a variety of situations as the lead official.

Earners have observed an official in a sporting situation and identified the skills and qualities that they possess, they have displayed the identified skills and qualities of an official in a sporting context, displayed the identified skills and qualities of an official in competitive contexts while supported by a qualified coach and consistently applied the skills of an official to maintain a safe, fair and enjoyable game of badminton for the participants involved.

Earners have visited a sporting event to observe an official, supported an experienced official to officiate a competitive scenario, acted as a scorer to support an experienced official, observed video clips and discussed decision making and application of rules governing badminton, applied rules and maintained score in a competitive situation with the support of a qualified official.
