Earning Criteria

• Earner has participated in a fully online module around apprenticeships and technical education, highlighting its impact in the West of England.
• Earner has completed a course introduction module consisting of expectations of the course and a short knowledge check to affirm understanding.
• Earner has completed a module on Labour Market Information (LMI), where they were challenged to think critically about how LMIs can enable career opportunities and explore various growth sectors in the West of England.
• Earner has completed a module focused on the different types of courses available and finished the module by viewing video case studies, and reading, to highlight the opportunities different courses offer.
• Earner has completed a module on apprenticeships and understand the different levels, what they are, and how to apply for them. Also covered in this module is the difference between a standard apprenticeship and a degree apprenticeship, with a knowledge check at the end.
• Earner has reaffirmed their knowledge by completing a module on higher technical qualifications. This module is focused on level 4 and 5 qualifications and how they specifically target a chosen field or profession.
• Earner has completed a module on Institutes of Technology (IoT) and understand what they are. They have watched a video outlining the what the West of England IoT is.
• Earner has completed a module on the eight Gatsby Benchmarks framework linking curriculum with careers and enabling learners to connect with employers. The module focuses on careers advice and guidance and ends with a reflection piece.
