Earning Criteria

The participant was selected into the AUM Aspire Program by their immediate supervisor and AUM Human Resources Department, based on their management and leadership responsibilities, their good standing as a university employee, and their desire to engage in professional development.
The participant successfully completed 36 contact hours of leadership and management development coursework to include the following topics: Transformational Leadership, Leading Others with MBTI, Building Teams, Emotional Intelligence, Handling Difficult Conversations, Conflict Management, and Understanding University Policies.
Participant completed written assignments for each topic explored and discussed responses with a small leadership cohort group to demonstrate application for each course topic.
