Union Governance
This course demonstrates compliance with the Fair Work (Registered Organisations) Act 2009. The Act requires union officers with financial decision-making responsibilities to undertake FWC-approved training in financial governance within six months of their appointment. This course develops understanding of financial statements and reports and the purpose of auditors. Participants explore facets of whistleblower protections and discuss the consequences of failure to comply with the RO Act.
