Driving and Community Mobility Foundation Badge
Earners of the Occupational Therapy Driving and Community Mobility Foundation Badge have successfully demonstrated an understanding of driving as an IADL impacted by impairments identified in evaluation of vision, physical ability, and cognition. Earners are familiar with the MODEM model and are able to develop resources to address service gaps and to identify a cost efficient service continuum. In addition, badge earners are able to educate families about transitioning to community mobility.
