Earning Criteria
- Earners of this badge participated in a 2-day Restorative Practice workshop in which they:
- 1. Actively engaged in co-creating a learning environment based on individual practices and collective values.
- 2. Actively engaged in a community-building circle and re-create a blocking belief that is rooted in an ancestral story.
- 3. Demonstrated an understanding of Restorative Practice principles and their origins by creating and facilitating a community-building circle for a specific audience and purpose.
- 4. Articulated the various parts of their identity and their connection with their relationship with power as well as reflect on how these have impacted how they have engaged in a conflict with a person who has an identity that is different from theirs.
- 5. Demonstrated an understanding of Restorative Practice principles and their origins by actively engaging in the repair-harm circle process and demonstrating de-escalation strategies.
- 6. Created a specific plan to implement restorative practices into their personal life as well as their workplace
