• 50 hours of virtual classroom instruction supplemented with additional self study.
• Application of skills learned each day by completion of set assignments.
• Completion of project using Java code that shows:
• An understanding of the Java JDK
• Use of an Integrated Development Environment
• Use of primitive and non-primitive a data types different condition constructs
• The practical use of iterative execution
• Use of modularization methods
• Use of modularization in the form of classes
• Use of fundamentals object-oriented programming in Java
• Use of Test Driven Development
• The ability to write computer programs to solve specified problems
