Earning Criteria

Complete the online Central Registry Board Trainer Certification through the Family Advocacy Program AND pass with 80% or above final grade.

Respond to a domestic incident that include but are not limited to abusive contact between member and spouse/significant other, child endangerment or abuse, or sexual assault.

Complete a professional journal detailing the redacted incident you responded to, the methods you used to resolve and de-escalate the situation, and the lessons you learned to handle the next incident response. Please see Professional Journal Template for guidance.

Compile a portfolio that includes a course completion certificate and a professional journal.

The portfolio was reviewed by the First Sergeants' Council according to the Domestic Abuse Response Rubric and recommended for the award of the Domestic Abuse Response Badge.
