Standards
Current candidates must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited U.S college or university, pass three CGFM examinations and complete two years of professional-level experience in U.S. government financial management.
CGFMs must renew their designation annually and complete 80 CPE hours every two years in government financial management topics (including 4 hours in ethics).
