The course objective is for students to be able to install, configure, optimize, troubleshoot, repair, upgrade, and perform preventive maintenance on personal computers, digital devices, and operating systems. Students must complete both CompTIA A+ Core 1 (ACIL-0001) and CompTIA A+ Core 2 (ACIL-0002) to receive the credit recommendation of 3 semester hours in information technology at the lower division.
