The program provides the student with a combination of learning in STEM fields and work experience at a Fortune 150 company. The program utilizes transferable skills noted in the Secretary of Labor's SCANS (Secretary's Commission of Achieving Necessary Skills 1991) report. Skill development will take place in both technical and non-technical areas including resume writing, presentation, interview skills, and Lean and Six Sigma basics for Yellow Belt certification.
