The methods of instruction include audio visual materials and learner presentations. The general course topics include introduction to statistics; definitions/terminology; descriptive statistics; probability; normal distributions and standard scores; confidence intervals; hypothesis testing with one sample; hypothesis testing for three or more groups; correlation and regression; chi-square test of independence; and using excel to perform statistical tests.
