Earning Criteria

Bachelor’s degree or higher or the global equivalent: A minimum of 24 months (two years) of professional project risk management within the last five consecutive years. 30 contact hours of formal education in the specialized area of project risk management
With a High School diploma, Secondary degree or the global equivalent: A minimum of 36 months (three years) of professional project risk management within the last five consecutive years. 40 contact hours of formal education in the specialized area of project risk management
With a degree from a GAC accredited program: A minimum of 12 months (one year) of professional project risk management within the last five consecutive years. 30 contact hours of formal education in the specialized area of project risk management
Successfully complete the 115 multiple-choice question, 2.5 hour PMI-RMP® certification exam
Earn 30 professional development units (PDUs) every three years to maintain the PMI-RMP certification.
