On-the-Job Training: Checkpoint
The course objective is to provide TSOs with a minimum of 60 hours of OJT before they are allowed to make independent judgments with respect to screening persons and property for entry into airport sterile areas or clearing checked baggage. The general course topics include checkpoint functions; baggage functions; administration; public safety; practical skills demonstration; image mastery test (IMT); and testing sensitive information.
