AI Hackathon - IBM Germany Lab
Issued by
IBM
The IBM Germany Lab has launched an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Hackademy series with the goal to grow cognitive skills in the development team as well as to identify possibilities to add AI capabilities into our products. In that context, a series of 2-day AI Hackathons is offered throughout the year where teams are given the chance to implement prototypes for cognitive solutions (be it an extension to actual products or something completely new).

Be an IBM employee
-
Participate successfully in one of the 2-day AI Hackathons offered throughout the year - by 'successfully', we mean:
-
Design, implement and present a prototype of an AI extension for an existing IBM product your working on. Presented prototype must either integrate into IBM's existing portfolio or showcase features of an IBM offering.
-
In a final session, all hackathon participants need to present their prototype and its underlying technology to demonstrate that they used and understood AI technology. All presentations are judged by a jury of technical leaders and management representatives. The jury must accept the presentation to a valid contribution to the IBM portfolio.
-
Video/paper/presentation of the prototype needs to be handed over to the organization team. This document must contain information about the problem that is solved, and the technology that has been used (template and all submissions will be made available in a wiki).
-
The badge earner needs to be present at all days of the hackathon.
