PCI Internal Security Assessor (ISA)

Issued by PCI Security Standards Council

Internal Security Assessors are taught how to perform internal assessments for their company and recommend solutions to remediate issues related to PCI DSS compliance. Assessors are sponsored by their companies, so when you receive this qualification you will be able to act as a liaison with external PCI auditors and manage interactions with a Qualified Security Assessor (QSA).

Earning Criteria

Be employed by a sponsor ISA company and complete the ISA registration form.
Ensure that the candidate meets the qualification requirements for relevant industry experience.
Complete the required ISA training course
Receive a passing score on the ISA Exam
Agree to abide by and support the PCI Code of Professional Responsibility
Maintain evidence of Continuing Professional Education credits as documented in the PCI SSC CPE Maintenance Guide as well as complete annual training and examination on the PCI Data Security Standards (PCI DSS)
