Lifetime Emeritus status signifies that a member maintains an active status as a CCIE or as a CCIE Emeritus for 20 consecutive years in at least one CCIE track. Lifetime Emeritus members no longer participate in a "day to day" technical work but would like to be involved in the program serving as ambassadors to current and future CCIE's.

Earning Criteria

Earners of the CCIE Lifetime Emeritus - Security have earned a CCIE certification through exam requirements and have maintained it for a period of at least 20 years. They have demonstrated knowledge of implementing and operating core security technologies, including network security, cloud security, content security, endpoint protection and detection, secure network access, visibility and enforcement.
