This individual previously held MBCI status and was able to evidence Advanced competency against 6 BCI competencies. This individual has also been continuously giving back to the wider BC community, and/or The BCI over the past 5 years and continues to do so going forward. This contribution is voluntary and outside any paid role.

OR - This individual applied under the Experiential Route and supplied evidence of Comprehensive competency against 5 BCI competencies AND evidence of Advanced competency against the remaining 6 BCI competencies. This individual has also been continuously giving back to the wider BC community, and/or The BCI over the past 5 years and continues to do so going forward. This contribution is voluntary and outside any paid role.

Fellows are encouraged to complete at least 20 hours of CPD each year to keep their knowledge and skill-set up to date. CPD is a mandatory requirement upon application to this grade.
Standards
The BCI competency framework defines the professional standards needed to be an effective business continuity practitioner at every career stage. It helps individuals advance as professionals, employers develop resilience capability through workforce planning and development, and gives society confidence in the resilience profession.
