Earning Criteria

Must have at least 2.5-3.5 years spent in the specialized area of project scheduling
Earner must have a minimum of 30 hours of formal education in the specialized area of project scheduling
Successfully complete the 170 multiple-choice question, 3.5 hour PMI-SP® certification exam
Earn 30 professional development units (PDUs) every three years to maintain the PMI-SP certification. Education PDUs earned focus on the areas of the PMI Talent Triangle – technical project management, leadership, and business and strategic management.
