Two lesson plans that follow the project-based model of lesson planning (either new lesson plans or adaption of existing lessons plans the learner created). At a minimum, each lesson plan includes: 21st Century Skills to be addressed; assessment strategies; timelines; a brief commentary on each section that explains, supports, and/or defends the choice for each section.
An annotated list of five project-based learning samples, made by others and shared online, related to the content area and/or grade level the learner teaches/hopes to teach. Each annotation includes: a complete citation of the original project or project template author; a brief description of the topic(s) and major goal(s) of the lesson plan; a brief critique identifying how well each lesson plan followed the seven essentials for project-based learning as indicated in the ASCD resource.
