Earning Criteria

• Must be an IBM employee.
• Previously attained IBM Data Scientist Certification - Level 2 Expert.
• Achieved certification by the profession Board that he/she is able to lead large multi-disciplinary teams which span the organization to successfully develop correct and complete solutions to meet the client’s identified business needs.
• Has demonstrated their vision though their data science leadership and personal impact on significant projects and their strategic leadership by anticipating, creating, and defining innovative concepts in a strategic IT or business environment.  They have evidenced how their breadth of experience has resulted in the delivery of value to the client and provided effective leadership of their teams. They have demonstrated significant impact on the IBM business
• Enhanced and maintained IBM's technical vitality through mentoring others (required) and other forms of give back including the development of intellectual capital and property, enablement assets, publications, technical presentations and voluntary work on Certification Review Boards.
• Translated complex quantitative analysis into compelling and easily understandable and actionable business insights through visualization and other appropriate techniques.
• Completed formal training in the discipline of data science (such as statistics, operations research, machine learning, or econometrics) either through attendance at a taught course, or through self-study.
