ATD CI Preapproved Education Provider

Issued by ATD Certification Institute

Education providers who are pre-approved by the ATD Certification Institute (ATD CI) are authorized to provide continuing education programs that qualify for initial eligibility and recertification of the Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) and Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD) credentials. Pre-approved providers must offer high-quality programming that has been developed and delivered by subject matter experts.

Earning Criteria

Pre-approved programs must be related to talent development as defined by the research-backed Talent Development Capability Capability Model.
Education providers who are pre-approved by the ATD Certification Institute must be able to offer proof of attendance and completion to those who participate in their programming. Credits are awarded based on direct instructional time spent in the activity with one point equal to one hour of instruction.
