Fun fact: Samuel Morse's original MORSE code consisted just of numbers. The usage of morse code numbers is easier than it looks. The code created by Clemens Gerke is what we use today rather than Morse code. In the past, particularly in the military, Morse code was used extensively. Even though there are only a few applications for Morse code today, it is still utilized in aviation, amateur radio, and assistive technology (AT).
