The ally@UNSW training program is for current UNSW staff and students to become members of the Ally Network, a community that aims to ensure UNSW is a safe and welcoming place for LGBTIQ+ students and staff. Facilitated by UNSW staff members and an external expert, two workshops, 'LGBTIQ+ Foundations' and 'Becoming an Active ally@UNSW' increase awareness and understanding of diverse lived experiences and provide practical tools to actively support, advocate and influence for LGBTIQ+ communities.
