Earning Criteria

Individuals achieving NH Master Roads Scholar II must have completed 150 hours of training, as well as have received recognition as a NH Roads Scholar Safety Champion through completion of 20 hours of safety-focused training.

Individuals achieving Master Roads Scholar II must have completed all prior achievement levels, including the NH Master Roads Scholar I and Safety Champion achievements.
Standards
Each level has a defined number of contact hours. A contact hour is an hour of actual instruction. Therefore, a typical one day workshop includes 5 hours of instruction, and a specific subject area to ensure that training covers a range of subjects essential to local road management.
