Personal Effectiveness for Administrators is an ILM Recognised programme of learning and assessment, created and delivered by Praeceptor Consulting for staff working in a variety of roles including administration, clerical and support roles. The aim is to develop their self-awareness skills to effectively promote good working relationships and enhance their own effectiveness.
Earning Criteria

Personal Management – This individual has developed an understanding of strategies to improve their workload management and how to prioritise through use of the Eisenhower Principle. They have developed an awareness of different types of stress and how to manage stress more effectively.

Communication skills – This individual had developed and enhanced their communication skills through improved self-awareness and knowledge of techniques, including NLP. They have learned the basics of assertiveness and perception management to improve their communication with others in the workplace.

Problem solving – This individual understands the different stages of the problem solving process through identification of; symptom/s, root cause analysis, creative thinking techniques to generate solutions and evaluation using De Bono’s Six Thinking Hats. They have an understanding of how to implement administrative solutions using Gantt charts.

This individual has completed an assessment that confirmed their knowledge and skills in adminstrative Personal Effectiveness.
Standards
The programme falls within the ILM Footprint of Leadership, Management, Coaching, Mentoring and Enterprise. It is well structured with appropriate governance and management to deliver consistently high-quality learning outcomes and objectives. Learners are fully supported and receive recognition for their achievement.
