Peace and Conflict Transformation: Traditions and Cultures

This credential develops community leaders in peace and reconciliation, with emphasis on intercultural competency. This participant increased their knowledge of their own and other’s traditions and cultures (language, sport, dance, religion) and how an intercultural mindset supports conflict transformation. They can analyse conflict, its causes and effects, and they developed mediation skills. They understand social justice and UN Security Council Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace and Security.
