Earning Criteria

• This person has met the distinction grade for the Level 5 Operations/Departmental Manager end-point assessment. They understand operational management approaches and models, project management tools/techniques and business finance. They know how to motivate and improve performance to build high performing teams. They understand networking and the impact that different leadership styles and emotional intelligence have on individuals and teams.
• This person is able to input into strategic planning, set and manage budgets, and implement projects to deliver required organisational outcomes. They communicate organisational vision/goals and can motivate team members by identifying their strengths and development areas. They use a range of communication techniques to negotiate, influence and manage conflict. They are able to reflect on their own performance and create personal development plans to implement performance improvements.
• This person has the drive to achieve in all aspects of work and is determined when managing difficult situations by taking a fair approach in line with organisational values. They are an authentic leader and build trust in their teams by seeking the views of others. They are agile in their approach to management, open to new ways of working and role model inclusive behaviour.
