1st Year Inside Wireman Blended Learning Bundle (17-21)

The course objective is to prepare students for completion of the 1st Year Inside Blended Learning bundle. It provides a complete overview of the Apprenticeship Program, from the history of the IBEW and structure of NECA to the goals and responsibilities of the apprentice. Students will identify basic tools of the trade, master mathematical skills and DC theory principles and learn the basic concepts of conduit bending and the National Electrical Code (NEC).

Earning Criteria

The methods of assessment include quizzes, examinations, presentations, and performance rubrics (checklists) with a minimum passing score of 75 percent.

The methods of instruction include audio visual materials, practical exercises, discussion, learner presentations, classroom exercises, laboratory, lecture, and computer-based training.
