Individuals earn this badge by reviewing participant portfolio submissions to verify demonstrated competence in designing a blended learning course. The portfolio requirements include course design artifacts and reflection statements representing six core blended design criteria: course expectations, learning objectives, activities, assessments, technology tools, and ethical practices. Successful completion of the five-week MOOC BlendKit2017 is a prerequisite criterion for this certificate.
