Badge earners successfully completed a 7-hour program facilitated by 16 instructional design experts and innovators. Activities include developing an action plan to 1) support change and innovation in instructional design by embracing and exercising leadership and 2) pursue a special professional interest in the area of instructional design that is emergent.

Topics included: New organizational models and practices instructional design teams need to consider; making use of the increasing amount of learning data available; exploring and operationalizing evidence-based practices; and professional development approaches for instructional designers to share areas of expertise, while focusing on key areas of professional growth. Participants completed two activities that enabled them to apply the key concepts presented.
