Earning Criteria

• They will be able to:
• Know the legislative requirements and Codes of Practice relating to the use of traps to control rats & mice
• Know the characteristics of rats & mice
• Know effective control methods for rats & mice
• Be able to assess the environmental factors prior to carrying out trapping activities
• Be able to complete a site survey prior to carrying out trapping
• Be able to identify, set, and recover approved cage/box traps
• Know how to carry out post operational procedures
