This course supports the Foundation of the Money Guidance Competency Framework which sets out the minimum level of skills and knowledge needed to deliver safe and effective money guidance. At Foundation, practitioners signpost customers to appropriate sources of further support and information. This course is for practitioners who deliver non-regulated, impartial guidance on money management and financial wellbeing as part of the support they provide for their service users or customers.

This learner has completed self-guided e-learning to develop knowledge about the skills and behaviours needed for money guidance including personal qualities and attributes, transferable skills such as literacy and numeracy, how to improve their own practice through self-reflection and professional development. About service boundaries and the limits of their role, how to obtain simple, factual information from customers in order to signpost, and how to work legally and safely
