This person has achieved the merit criteria of the Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming. They are comfortable with occupational systems and procedures and can plan and solve problems effectively. They successfully carry out complex tasks and can consistently demonstrate high standards and attention to detail.

This person is able to: 1. Understand the requirements of relevant animal welfare legislation 2. Understand the importance of safe working practices 3. Understand how to minimise the likelihood of injury, emergency situations and principles of first aid 4. Prepare risk assessments for the grooming environment
