It is for learners who work or want to work as a Senior Barber. Learners are likely to hold a Level 2 Diploma Hairdressing or Barbering qualification and/or previous practical experience within the Hairdressing or Barbering Industry.   • This learner has completed the following mandatory units: 302 Monitor and maintain health and safety Practice in the salon, 303 Consultation support for colleagues on hair  services, 312 Cut men’s hair to create a variety of Looks, 313 Cut facial hair to create a variety of Looks, 306 Colour hair to create a variety of looks, 316 Creative Hairdressing Design Skills, 318 Provide shaving and face massage services
  • As this qualification contains a range of optional units, this person has a minimum of 19 credits from the following optional units:
  • 307 Human resource management within the hair and beauty sector
  • 308 Perm hair to create a variety of looks
  • 309 Provide hair extension services
  • 310 Make and Style a Hair Addition
  • 315 Relaxing services for African Type Hair
  • 317 Promote and sell products and services to clients
  • 410 Hair colour correction
  • 411 Design and create patterns in hair
  • 205 Promote products and services to clients in a salon
  • 213 Display stock to promote sales in a salon
