Earning Criteria

This person understands the fundamental benefits of current, available Operating Systems and the platforms on which they operate, including end-to-end testing, use of built in applications and tools, and security principles. They can provide an overview of platforms, and scenarios in which they are used and describe the basic elements of computing devices (PCs, laptops, tablets, mobile phones, etc), and Health and Safety considerations for working with these devices.

They can describe the process and considerations for end-to-end testing of configured platforms, the use of built-in applications and tools and the security principles of platforms and Operating Systems with key access and security considerations for delivering remote support.

This person understands the fundamentals of remote operation, deployment and secure integration of mobile devices and can describe the process for deploying remote mobile communications: and the key elements of organisation policies when enabling remote management.
