This qualification is aimed at learners aged 16 and above who would like to gain the basic knowledge and skills required during their initial training to become a Marine Engineer, either as part of their Apprenticeship or as full time students. They will develop the range of transferable skills over a cross section of production, manufacturing and service sectors which are valued by employers and therefore increase their employability skills.
