This qualification is aimed at learners aged 16 and above who would like to gain the basic knowledge and skills required during their initial training to become a Boatbuilder, either as part of their Apprenticeship or as full time students. To achieve the Level 2 Diploma in Boatbuilding (Foundation), learners must achieve mandatory units 201, 202 and 203. They are able to:

To achieve the Level 2 Diploma in Boatbuilding (Foundation), learners must achieve two optional units from units 204-207.
