Earning Criteria

• The apprentice has undertaken at least 850 hours of qualification time.
• The apprentice has undertaken at least 693 guided learning hours.
• The apprentice has completed the following mandatory units:
• Consultation
• Shampoo, condition and treat the hair and scalp
• Style and finish hair using a range of techniques to achieve a variety of looks
• Cut hair using a variety of techniques to create a variety of looks
• Colour and lighten hair using a range of techniques
• The apprentice has specialised in one of the following optional units:
• Perming hair
• Hair relaxing treatments and techniques
• Hair extension services
