Earning Criteria

All learners will have taken two of the following welding units • Manual Metal Arc (MMA) Welding • Metal Inert Gas (MIG) Welding • Oxy-Acetylene Welding • Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) Welding – Aluminium • Tungsten Inert Gas Welding. Using one of these technique, leaners are able to produce a butt weld – flat and vertical ; produce a lap fillet weld; produce a tee fillet weld; produce a tube-to-plate tee fillet weld; Know the Process and Health & Safety requirements
