This individual has undertaken real work experience partaking in practical activities in a ‘high end restaurant’. They took part in developing balanced menus, budgeting and shopping for ingredients. They learnt how to use kitchen equipment safely and took part in a range of workshops to develop specialist talents such as Barista skills. They explored how to embed lifelong skills to help them make career choices for themselves.
