Suitable for learners aged 14 years and above, the programme is designed to be delivered within a global, online, live teaching setting. It is offered in addition to National Curriculum subjects and provides important learning in Art and Design disciplines, supportive of future studies in the arts, design, architecture and other creative industries.

This individual has successfully completed a portfolio designed to build a personal response to a theme. This included research and development of an idea based on various artists creating assemblage themed artworks. The next step involved experimentation and making; reviewing and refining; and communication of their ideas in a personal and conceptual response presented as their final piece.

This individual has successfully completed a portfolio designed to build a personal response that communicates a concept. This included research and development of an idea based on various artists and performers creating paper-based artworks. The next step involved experimentation and making; reviewing and refining; and communication of their ideas in a personal and conceptual response presented as their final piece.

This individual has shown competence in art analysis and has developed independent thinking skills by recording and communicating ideas in a variety of ways, including written and visual.

This individual has successfully completed the final two modules (2 stages of one project), as self-led design and realisation project. It focused on artist research and development from different cultures, with creative responses to this research. The second stage focused on a personal exploration and development of ideas based on previous research, culminating in a final piece. This work has built on skills developed across previous modules.
