This person has met the pass criteria for each component of the end-point assessment for the Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard. (City & Guilds code: 9061-12). Early Years Practitioners work directly with children in settings on a day-to-day basis, supporting activity planning and delivery, purposeful play and educational programmes. They work in a team for the welfare and care of children under supervision of an Early Years Educator, teacher or other qualified professional.

This person has been assessed independently by City & Guilds as having achieved all pass criteria for each component of the end-point assessment.

They work under supervision and in partnership with others to support the welfare and care of children from birth to age 5, in line with requirements for inclusivity, health, safety and security in Early Years settings. They support child-initiated and adult-led activities based on the needs and interests of each individual child, supporting children’s learning through planned, purposeful play and educational programmes.
