Recognition this person has taken part in a City & Guilds CPD event to prepare to deliver the following units in the Certificate in Mathematics Skills (3850) qualification. Three hours of CPD has been assigned to this activity.
Earning Criteria

This half day CPD activity enables practitioners to:

Teach learners the content of the respective units in the Certificate in the City & Guilds Mathematics Skills 3850 qualification, and to understand the required assessment approach.

Familiarise themselves with key documents, administrative and quality assurance procedures

Explore the format and nature of the examination papers at all levels and review Chief Examiner’s reports

Develop skill and proficiency in lesson planning

To earn this credential the participant has:

Explored the subject content for 3850-01: Units 101-108, 3850-02: Units 201-213 and 3850-03: Units 301-312.

Participated in discussions geared towards improvement of the delivery of the syllabus by making relevant suggestions

Demonstrated knowledge and competence in the Mathematics course by sitting a level three examination paper

Shared their creativity and skill by designing Evaluation activities for different topics in the syllabus in order to assess students’ learning

Participated in activities that highlighted the fact that Mathematics can be fun
-
Appreciated the range of support that is available for the City & Guilds 3850 program, the way to access each source and how to use the materials to improve the teaching/learning process.
