Earning Criteria

Pass randomized question assessment mastery at an 80% or higher. Information regarding the assessment can be obtained from MSU Department of Engineering & Engineering Technology

Understand structure, properties and characteristics of materials used in construction, maintenance and repair of aircraft components, whole structures and sub-assemblies. Apply knowledge of repair methods and tools. Identify composite defects. Correctly interpret and/or produce repair scheme/modification drawings/sketches. Prepare components for hot bonding. Differentiate characteristics of joining and bonding. Use common composite processes and techniques to repair composite material.
