Earning Criteria

Must be an employee of IBM
Provided evidence that the badge earner planned, implemented and customized systems management functions in a client IT organization.
Demonstrated that the badge earner has used system management tools such as those from CA, HP and IBM, or cloud environment management tools such as ServiceNow, Zabbix, Himenos, etc. which support systems management functions and has implemented and configured tools for operational control, growth, planning, resiliency, and recoverability
Provided examples that show the badge earner has used a method or any other system of best practices or mixture thereof, to support and configure systems management functions. Some examples of methods are ITIL, PRM-IT, ITPM, and BSP.
Demonstrated that the badge earner has defined and documented operation functions and requirements for the recovery of any component and has and regularly validated recoverability.
Provided that the badge earner has advised or supported clients on at least two system management components, such as configuration management, release management, service continuity and more. Demonstrated that thebadge earner has general knowledge of the other system management components.
The badge application must be approved by the Subject Matter Expert who conducted the review
